Mormon World is the best resource of Mormon news from Africa, the Middle East and Asia. This website was created and is maintained by volunteers who are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many of these volunteers are current college students with young families who have served missions throughout the world and have a passion for the growth of the Mormon Church abroad. None of these volunteers receive any compensation for their generous contributions of time, talent and energy to design and maintain Mormon World.

Why AdSense and Amazon?
There various Google AdSense and Amazon ads that appear throughout Mormon World. These are a way to recoup some of the initial and on-going investment required to create, maintain and improve Mormon World. No one associated with this website makes any profit from these advertisements and all money derived from such is invested back into the website. It is solely up to the visitors of Mormon World if they wish to click on such ads and it is encouraged by the Mormon World administration that you only click on them if you are legitimately interested in what is advertised. As we do not control which ads (in the case of AdSense) that appear there we apologize for any offensive content and ask that you please contact us if this is occurring.
Why ask for donations?
As our goal is to develop and establish the best resource on the internet relating to the Mormon Church abroad it is necessary that there be some capital outlay. Combine this with the fact that most of us our poor college students with young families and entry-level jobs it was decided that we would make the option available for those interested in donating to Mormon World. It is of note that Mormon World is not a legally registered non-profit organisation. Donations will be directed to and handled by the founder and creator of this site and used at his discretion to maintain and improve Mormon World.
Benefits of donating?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer you a dividend, voting rights, tax-deduction, health care, dentist or any other kind of return on your investment- at least monetarily. But for those who have a testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith we can offer the promises of missionary work as mentioned throughout the scriptures. Paraphrasing a portion of Doctrine and Covenants: “For the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. And how great shall be your joy if you bring but one soul unto God.” We have a firm testimony that Mormon World can be a real force for good and positive change in the real world by means of the digital world and hope you are willing to help us make this happen. We know that you will be blessed in your own life as you reach out to help others hear the message of the Restoration as we have been blessed abundantly in our own lives for our efforts.

The greatest way to help is to help us compile resources about the Mormon Church in Africa, The Middle East and Asia. These resources may include pictures, video, your first-hand accounts and experiences and finally contacts of Mormon friends and acquaintances throughout the world etc Further, for those interested in writing about their experiences as a native of these regions of the world or as a Mormon who has studied, worked, lived, traveled or served a mission abroad then we encourage you to visit the Contribute to Mormon World for more details on how to be an author for Mormon World.
