The talk “My Words…Never Cease” by Jeffrey R. Holland (One of the 12 Apostles) was given in the April 2008 General Conference.
This is an excellent talk on the idea of continuing revelation. If God could reveal His holy word to Prophets in ages past, (Hence why we have the Bible) could He not do it again today? Understanding the idea of continuing revelation by the proper authority is essential to understanding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that both these things solely exist within this church and how grateful I am for the many ways in which this knowledge has blessed my life. I encourage all who may read this, no matter your religious affiliation, to read this excellent talk and ponder the principle that God still talks with prophets today!
